NES side cover art
RetroElite:
Why did they change the side art for the NES covers?
It does not look like the original box art when sitting on the shelve.
They slapped a box that reads "Nintendo entertainment system"..... witch sometimes replaces some look logos and such.
I guess they thought it looked better?
I would love to get the ORIGINAL> So they can look as they do in the ORIGINAL boxes.
How depressing.
Azarkhel:
Download photoshop and change into whatever the *bleep* you want.

Because my OCD demanded it. Uniformity.

Play nice ::).
OP because our covers are custom. Recently there has been a "Retail Spine" movement. So head to the request forum and hopefully some one will fill it.

For the most part, two covers are usually made; a cover project version (which is the spine you're referring to) and retail (which are authentic to the originals). Everything posted is volunteer work; as a result, sometimes only a Cover Project version is made and vice versa. The cover project offers every resource so you can make changes as you please. We provide template, photoshop, instructions, etc....
