Cheers guys........although youre one to talk Banisher! bloody emailing me asking for progress reports every few days!!!  ;D

And you guys are right, I just absolutely HATE saying I am going to do something and then not doing it.........especially when I dont mean to not be doing that thing but stress and madness cant ever seem to leave my tired ass alone.

This is also the reason I feel the incessant need to come in here (and other threads where I have taken longer than expected to finish something) and explain myself.  :P

Its just been unexpected external pressures and requirements of me that I cannot control, all whilst I am under IMMENSE pressure to finish a mountain of work I have to do in an extremely short time frame..........any wonder why I am effectively ignoring all that to try and make covers as a god damned distraction? lol.

Yeah, typing that and the 1478th realisation of how screwed I am with this workload.........I really should stop for a while after this one, as it simply isnt working anymore (ie: this used to be my stress reliever and distraction but it is fast becoming yet another stress on me, although this one is self inflicted for a change!).

Thanks again people, shall hopefully be getting this done soon.

Oops my fault. I will stop asking for anymore progress. I apologize for that. Sorry.

I will buy this cover from retrogamescases, once again, I am sorry if I added extra pressure to you.

You don't have to be that extreme. The guy's working on your cover. You don't have to threaten to go buy the cover from retro game cases. Be cool.

I am threatening or anything, I just feel sorry for my pressure, so I just want to lighten the pressure for him by getting the cover from somewhere else. That's all and I am not too sure how would that sound threatening, while I feel like this is caring. Maybe is my sentence tone or something, but I am not threatening anyone.

To be honest, I really like his work and if I can meet him in the real world, I would like to show how much I appreciate his work and I think we can be friend.

He's almost done with the cover. He just didn't have time to finish it. He's trying to finish it with you in mind as you've been the primary asking for it. By going out and buying a cover from retrogamecases is a slap in the face. It's throwing away the work he's already done. It's basically telling him, "Don't bother, I'll get my cover elsewhere."

Also, he is the person who inspired me the most to try to complete the SNES collection because he willing to make the covers that I miss without charges or make a bunch of nasty comments. So there is no way that I am threatening him, I really treated him as my friend.

That is no my intention at all, my intention was to tell him he does not to add extra pressure on his shoulder and I apologize if I added any pressure to him. Thats all.

One more thing, I’ve tried my best to avoid retrogamecases already because I do not see his covers got posted on this site, but a lot of his covers were from this site. So I always want to have covers that retrogamecases have on his site to be created and posted on this website because this way nobody needs to pay the premium price for the cover.

But for this cover, it seems like OhhNoYouNintenDidnt has so much going on with his life already and it seems like my status update was pressuring him. So I just want to remove that pressure and get this cover from retrogamecases and share it.

Even typing this message is making me cry because it seems like my message got misunderstood.

One last thing, if OhhNoYouNintenDidnt posted the cover, I will definitely use the cover he made for us, just like The Flintstones cover he personally made for me.

Ohh man............now I REALLY wish I hadnt said anything (outside the embarrassment of my whining) as I really did not want to cause an issue with or between anyone!

Banisher - man, I was only kidding, I have a bit of a sarcastic sense of humour so please, I REALLY did not want or need you to apologise man! You more than anyone here got me started on all this! I just hate letting you down.

So please, do not apologise...........but equally..........dont go and buy the cover elsewhere as I will have to kill you if you suddenly didnt need or want it anymore!  ;D ;D ;D

Seagamer - Banisher and I have talked via PM and at each other on here for months and months, as I said above he is the sole reason I really got started here as with his SFC request and the encouragement he gave me that and every moment/cover since............there is absolutely NO WAY he meant any dis-respect or malice when he suggested buying the cover!

As he explained, he was simply making a suggestion and/or reacting to all my professions of stress and craziness surrounding the making of this cover...........which he pretty much asked me to do directly (before I even saw or posted in this thread via PM), so given that he seems like such a great, genuine, honest guy, I am 110% sure he was purely suggesting that out of concern for me due to what I have been saying.......as knowing him so far, he probably feels a bit responsible for all this crap I have been talking! which he is in no way part of course.

So thats THAT! no harm done, Banisher didnt mean anything by his suggestion............but I see where you are coming from Seagamer in the sense that if I thought for 1 second that Banisher meant that as a "Ohh for gods sake, Ill just go and BUY the cover then!!!", then it would be pretty shitty to pull the plug on my efforts.

But he did not mean that at all..............and my cover is going to be better than any damned one you could buy anyway!!!  8)

Thank you for understanding, I didn't buy the cover. I definitely want to use your cover.

Making these covers seems like fun at first but it's very easy to burn out on them. Just give yourself a generous time frame to work on ONE cover at a time and you'll be all right, a week or two to do one cover is no big deal.

I entirely understand though, I still haven't really recovered my enthusiasm for this sort of work after working relentlessly on SNES RPG manuals with some of the lads here. Just totally sucked the fun out of it for me and that was almost a year ago.

I must admit, I havent really wanted to admit (certainly say that to you guys) to myself but that is how I am feeling right now with these.

Not consciously really, as I WANT to do covers but I keep losing my shit a little when things dont quite go as easy as I thought they would be and something requires anything more than the normal amount of effort.

Although, that could be due to the myriad of insanities going on in and around me for awhile now.........which is only going to get worse over the next couple of months.

So I think, as I have actually been saying/suggesting/warning for a while now actually, its time for me to have a bit of break from making covers for a bit.......as I really dont want to feel like this with them, I mean I enjoy doing them so much and also enjoy helping you guys fill out requests and lists but I think you are completely spot on Asarkhel, especially as I have done so much in quite a short amount of time.

Thank you for that! as I probably would have carried on ignoring this "feeling" but I also recognise that I have been reaching this point for a little while now.

That feels like quite a lot to me. lol..........thats 51 covers in 105 days.........yeah, I think 1 every 2 days or so is quite a lot huh.  :-\
