How good are video game box protectors

Made a insert similar to the genesis red ones which is pretty much the gatefold box without the front flap, instead of the circle on the side to put your fingers I just made a square that folds inside so its still black looking, I reckon it looks better than a white hole. still keen to get a gatefold box printed properly tho....
Shot of the box with and without cartridge (golgo 13 is game and forgive the white its black paper glued on to cardboard although I think it looks kinda cool having a white outline.)
