Sorry, I meant that it doesn't fully function since the link port cannot be connected through the reader on the sp. it's not 100% useless as my post made it sound. My bad. |

Really surprised that you didn't know this Wiggy, being a sort of hardware expert around here, but you are incorrect. E-Reader functions 100% on an SP (or GB Player). It doesn't need the link port AT ALL. The ONLY reason the link port it is there is as a passthrough, because on the original GBA, the link port would have been blocked by the e-reader. As a matter of fact, you can still link a GBA SP with an e-reader to Animal Crossing on GCN or Super Mario Bros. 3 on a second GBA(SP). |
