sebboh:
I open this thread because probably in summer i'll pass my holidays in USA (Probably New York). I want to know the name of the low cost companies that operates inside USA (3 weeks in the same place can be boring), and if they are very strict with luggage or clothes to use the jacket that i use with ryanair in europe:

.

Off course i'll try to buy an usa snes and other consoles, so any store with good prices would be appreciated

International or domestic, flying in the US sucks!  You're subject to all manner of search including some freaky full body scan machine of doom :/

If you're going to be in New York City, then don't plan on getting any deals on games.  Probably the most expensive city in the US :(

Put all electronic toys you want in a small carry-on bag, it won't be bad then. They run it through the scanner.

Only issue I've really had flying with security, is the "have to be there 30 mins before takeoff" bs.  The shuttle from the rental place was late, I showed up and signed in at 6:30, for my 7:00 flight.  It said I could not make it because I was not 30 mins ahead of time (Guess they go by seconds), and was rerouted to a latter flight.  I ended up having to sit 30 mins, to see my flight take off, then kill another 2 hours for my new flight.  I did however save an hour layover, so wasn't all that bad.

good to know that, in Europe normally the low cost companies only let you carry 1 hand luggage (you can't carry on a suitcase and a small bag)
