I'm not much of a Sega gamer, but I was wondering what good games there are for Sega Genesis, that have a specific cover art logo design. If anyone has a list of the games that share the same cover art logo as the game pictured below, I'd really appreciate it.

It does strike me as odd that Sega does so many designs for their logos on their games. I was obviously none the wiser to this.

So, you want a list of good Genesis games only released on red spines? Sega only rebranded Genesis once. So, there only 2 different logos. Sony rebranded PS3 once this generation as did Microsoft. It's not unusual. Many members of the cover project have taken older style Genesis games and Made red spine covers for them. There are tons of top ten, top twenty, top 100 lists of best genesis games available.  My personal favorite genesis games came well before the rebranding.

I think my favorite Genesis game is Buck Rogers. lol as cheesy as the graphics are I Really enjoy turn based rpg type games. then you have the classics like streets of rage. but i wasn't hugely into sega like i was snes.

Buck Rogers is a port of the computer games, where it's the low end of the SSI Gold Box games.  I'd check out pools of darkness and all the rest of the games, same combat and movement, ect, but with AD&D rules.

So there is other games on the Sega Genesis that are just like Buck Rogers? I was totally unaware. Are they also on the genesis or are those just computer games?

@ace master core.  Just get whatever games you want on the system -  it's foolish to limit by red stripe only.  We can make custom covers for any to give you a uniform look on the shelf.  So many of the early genesis games are absolute classics you'd be missing out on.

Just computer.  There's an ungodly port of the first game, Pool of Radiance, on Nes.  It's sooo bad though, even a fanboy like me can't play it.  http://rhwiii.info/blog/archives/723 is a bit of gameplay.  I'm just finishing up collecting the main series, still need Neverwinter Nights (The first one, the MORPG, not the Atari one)

Regardless of that, I don't put a different cover on a game, just because I don't like the cover. Having a different cover that doesn't match the disc/cartridge graphics irks my nerves. Also, despite that I asked for a list of games, no one has given me a list yet. They just keep going on about 1 or 2 Genesis games they like.

Well i think this topic's done. I found a very interesting 5 games I'd enjoy for Genesis.

Genesis
1. Castlevania: Bloodlines
2. Ristar
3. Robocop vs. The Terminator
4. Spider-Man and Venom: Maximum Carnage
5. Spider-Man and Venom: Separation Anxiety

Those Spider-Man games are also on the SNES. Not sure which versions are better.

Robocop vs. The Terminator is kind of also on the SNES, but they're really different (but similar) games under the same name/concept. Like Aladdin.

Erm.. Didn't you just put a different custom cover on your mass effect for ps3?

Edit:  and we can do red label cart labels if you want to replace any labels - the only issue there is getting them printed nicely.

@sheep2001: Mass Effect 1 for PS3 is a bit of a different story. Mass Effect 1 only came on a disc in the Mass Effect Trilogy, and only had a box in the PAL version and not the NTSC version. What I'd asked for was a slight retouching of a PAL retail cover to a customized NTSC retail look-alike cover and it was nicely done. I guess you could say Mass Effect 1 for PS3 was a special case in my opinion.
