atari flashback 2 mod service?

Pages: (1/2) > >>

KMSoulja:

Does anybody know of anywhere that has a mod service for the atari 2 flashback? I found one today and bought it but i kinda would like to get it modded to play cartridges. If anybody knows who does this please let me know. Thanks

Jeff:

I know you want a service, but here's a guide on how to do it yourself.

I've seen these around, but never thought much of it. But this looks like a neat mod, I might try it myself. (I wouldn't trust myself to mod one for anyone else though.)

SnesGuy:

I've done it. The soldering was a bit tricky at first but wasn't too bad. Couple of good tutorials around.

here's a couple pics from mine.

~also, I could have put a low profile switch on it, but the more stuff I mod (consoles, games, ecigs, etc) the more I love putting big shiny obnoxious switches on things ;P

looks like there is heavy soldering involved. how long did it take you to perform that mod?

A few hours. The soldering is intimidating at first but wasn't nearly as bad as I thought. (this was the first real project I did besides recapping game gears)
This is one of those projects where it was more fun doing than using. I've brought it out.. maybe twice since building it. lol.
