Hello Everyone I have a quick question to all the members here who collect SNES/SFC Games.

Now I know there is alot of games you can play that don't require you to read anything to play the game, like Megaman, super metroid etc, but my question to you all is as a collector do you NEED say the NTSC Mega Man X2 cart to be accepted into your collection?

I ask because alot of the popular games like megaman are so inflated on ebay that its hard to get the games you want at a good price, but there is always SFC varients that are substantially cheaper but need to be shipped from Japan.

So would you be okay buying SFC games and boxing them in a UGC with NTSC Cover Art? or is that voodoo here? lol

I bought a SD2SNES and it can't play some games like Megaman X2 and X3 because of the special chip but I love those games and do want to play them.. so should i import them or pay the price for the real games?

Thanks!

First of all I think you mean taboo not voodoo. ;D

Of course it's OK, but we have JAP style US Vertical for the Megaman X3.

Making the other 2 should not be too hard.

Personally, I prefer localizing Japanese game covers into English, changing SFC to SNES and all that. I call my Japanese Final Fight... Final Fight- The Arcade Game, for example.

Yeah, I'm with you. That seems odd, especially since it's pretty far from arcade-perfect.

Personally, I label my SFC games as such and mix em right in with my SNES games.

I'm not sure what you mean by Jap Style US Vertical for Megaman x3, is that the cover art you're referring too?

Or you could use this sexy cover Mel made. Don't use cheap paper though. I'm balls deep in games with cheap paper and I lay awake at night wondering why? Why did I not opt for the expensive, high quality paper?!

Semi-gloss Photo paper usually gives best result.

What would you say is the best printer? I hear Epson makes a nice printer for this type of stuff.
