Hmm.
Something bugs on the quality of the raw...
It might be that it's one of those covers that just can't be scanned well...

Please try scanning at 600DPI with no filters applied and one at 600 with moire removal (also known as de-screen or de rasterize) if you have that option.

Oh and the touched up was MAYBE too soft (lost too much detail)... maybe... or it might be perfect when printed...
At minimum I think the back cover black box text would need re-write for sharpness... but then on the other hand I'm sometimes expecting impossioble quality (thus not accepting my own covers either)...
