I'm 4 games away from having a full run of NES from '85-'88, not counting Stadium Events. I Decided from '89 on up to just get what is in my personal "Hall of Fame" and whatever is considered to be the "best" NES games out there. I also am just a few away from all Nintendo, Capcom and Konami/Ultra titles. I've tried looking at the publisher of a game because some are simply much better than others. Platformer/Adventure games seem to be the best but I know there are others. There are a few games that everybody calls the best and then some that are personal favorites for one reason or another. And by "best" I mean highest quality, best is rather subjective. Any suggestions? What are your favorite NES and SNES and why? I'm sure there is a thread around here similar to this one but I'm trying to compile a list to help me finally finish my Nintendo collection. Thanks for all the input.

got all those. Solomons Key was frustrating when I first got it but looking back nearly all of them were. Old gamer me isn't as skilled as new gamer me. Actually beat Iron Mike without codes once. LOVE that game

Kind of, yeah. The mech theme is kinda meh, honestly, but the graphics are great and the gravity flipping mechanic are wonderful.
