of times our N64 covers have been downloaded since we got this site up live. Considering the age of the N64 seeing 30+ downloads of a cover is pretty satisfying considering the effort expended getting these scanned, created etc.

However, what's even more impressive is the amount of times the N64 labels have been downloaded. I started this more for completeness of N64 artwork than anything else but it just goes to show that people do actually want to replace ripped/damaged stickers on their carts.

So anyone who has clean labels for their carts .... please check your games against what we have online here and if not already scanned consider scanning the front of the cart at 300dpi and putting on the FTP site and I'll crop them etc ...

Now ... I must get me one of those Xyron label machines  ;D

  • ...and that's the bottom line
I don't have any N64 games that we (you :) ) haven't scanned labels of. But I have a fair collection of SNES games. So once it's "mission accomplished" in the N64 cover project and we are ready to try a harder difficulty level and move to SNES I can scan those.

I have tons of great clean n64 labels and when I get back home I definitely plan to scan the games we currently do not have. Same with the n64 manuals.

I could scan the game labels of the Game Boy and DS games I have with me at school. Seeing there is a demand for n64 labels, I know there will be probably an even greater demand for Game Boy games. Going to used video game stores I see tons of poorly treated Game Boy games.

Excellent. Hopefully between you and wshbrngr we can get the majority of labels scanned and out of our hair so to speak.

I scanned the Aerofighters manual if you dont have an original .... just in case you missed it  :)

No worries .... I uploaded it to FTP yesterday so it's just waiting on Snowcone making it available on the site along with all the other ones I've done recently. Shouldn't be too far away  :)

I, too, am incredibly surprised by these download numbers...this, for example:

http://www.thecoverproject.net/view.php?cover_id=463

I only made it since I found 300dpi scans of it....but who actually owns that???

27 people do apparently. :)

I may build an app that let's registered cover artists view the stats for the covers they make in a single place.

Now THAT would be a cool facility. That and getting the N64 list online for a graphical view of what we have/dont have etc.  :)
