Selling Cases

I just found this website after doing some research. I bought some cases off ebay and it appears that the cases use the retail packaging images from this website.

Is it legal for them to sell the cases? I'm not sure if I should continue to buy cases from them or make my own. Making them takes time so it's easier to buy them assembled.

I also saw a website outside of eBay selling the retail images as well. The cases I bought were for the NES.

Arseen:

Yeah some sell our covers, some do their own using our template (in latter case the quality is usually shit).

You can keep buying the ready covers if you want support thiefery... and waste money.

I didn't know if it was Ok to do or not. That's why I asked as soon as I found this website.

If the retail packaging covers are the same as what nintendo created then isn't this website also stealing but distributing them?

I saw there was custom covers on this website as well that I assume members made.

I couldn't find the terms of service for this website so I made a thread to ask.

Thanks.

There is no selling of covers through this site, thus there is no stealing. Consider the covers on here as "fan art".

Thanks for clearing this up :)

It actually sounds fun to make my own cases now, rather than buy them. I had no idea they were getting the prints from this website.

Do you know where I can get cases that fit NES games?
