Going to have to interject here.
I grew up on the 1987-1996 cartoons, and while I loved them at the time and still like them for nostalgia.... They're pretty terrible. Well, first season is good. Second season's okay... Just worse from there. Trying to watch them on DVD is painful.
The 2003 cartoon is better and, frankly, the current (2012) cartoon is fantastic. Wasn't sold on the CG artstyle at first, but it's proven itself.
(And everything's better than Next Mutation)
Totally agree on the new movie, though. Looks terrible.

It's Michael Bay and what's-her-fuck-McPouty Lips. Of course it's gonna be an abomination. Someone please take Transformers away from that dick and give it to someone, anyone else.

DO NOT SAY THAT! They will just give it to M Night Shyamalan or Uew Boll and it will be even worse.

TECHNICALLY, Michael Bay is only producing the film. He is not directing it. So there may be some hope. Bay has been too busy with Transformers 4, so hopefully his creative involvement was minimal with TMNT.
