Nope! Paid to have them made from a site recommended by users from this community. I just need to find/make a Secret of Mana 2 UGC cover now.

They are very well done. Not a single loose wire inside the carts, has a custom PCB plugged that houses the chips soldered into the donor board with jumpers that can be used to reprogram it. Battery support as well.

I'm sorta confused. Why would you want to re-flash the chips?  Seems like a strange extra effort & expense on the maker's part ???

just landed Die Schlümpfe Reisen um die Welt mit Poster  ;D
(a.k.a. Smurfs Travel the World; Smurfs 2)

on which system? (please be master system, please be master system....) i assume it's snes?

I have limited knowledge of the Sega Master System. I am most familiar with Telstar, Atari systems, NES, SNES, N64, PS1, Sega Genesis systems.
Anyway, I did some research on the Master System version: I see that it is rare. I saw an old entry on ebay that sold for 304 pounds with a poster. Yikes! I think that when I spend a few hundred euro for a game, that game will be Daze Before Christmas, Vampire's Kiss or Hagane. Sorry. Maybe a bunch of us could put our money together to score a copy of Les Schtroumpfs Autour du Monde with poster.

Lol, don't worry about it.  That's why i was hoping you'd managed to pick it up cheap somewhere.  It's the game I want more so than the poster.   I won't be paying hundreds of euros for a master system game either - even though I am trying for a full eu set.

well, I have it on my radar now. I will always be looking for a cheaper copy. You'll know when/if I find one.
I don't give up so easily. I've already found a cheaper copy of Daze Before Christmas but I want that one near mint.
anyway, I will keep looking and if the right deal comes along, I will pounce on it for you  ;D

I'm certainly no expert on this stuff, but it looks like they put in jumpers on the cart to hook up to it? I really don't know, as I've never really looked very far into how to make a Repro.

Here's a couple pictures to illustrate what I mean from the SoM2 Repro. Ignore the spot on the mat next to the cart, I spilled some super glue one day and haven't been able to get it out of my work mat. :(

Also, do you happen to have the cover for this still? I noticed it was already in your collection. :)

I have never seen one done this way.  The only two ways I know to make these are with Eprom stacking or  TSOP adapter with flash memory.

Sorry for the no pic ..

Found Spyro the Dragon and Next Tetris for $4 each at Value Village.

Both complete and in pretty good shape.

That's just an adapter board to allow 16-bit eeproms.

I've never seen an adapter board like that. Seems like WAY more work and investment than TSOP, but who knows. Weird...

Yeah, all my covers are linked in a thread that you can find in my sig ;)

Been wanting this for a while. Finally got it for a decent price.  Might have to make an F-Zero triple case now that I have all 3 :D

Cost is pretty much the same. Maybe even cheaper to be honest. 1 160 or 322 chip and 2 74hc257's and exact pin replacement. Easy AF.
