I was going to offer to scan Critical Depth for you if you wanted, but it sounds like you are planning on buying it anyway.  Let me know if you want it. 

Thanks for the offer on the Mario scan, but I don't think I'll need it.  I downloaded a cover from here already and I normally don't bother with the manuals.  If I can get a manual when I buy a game, great, but if I'm missing it, I don't worry too much because my ratio of cartridge based games to manuals is probably 30:1.

ebay error #1
I just got SFC Mask CIB today but I actually won an auction for Pinocchio.
On one hand, I am happy because I may be able to get a free scan of Mask.
on the other hand, I have to try to rectify the matter and I could end up getting stuck with Mask.



has this happened to anyone on TCP?
do I contact ebay about the matter first?

You should open a case with eBay.  However by doing this you will be contacting the seller first.  Give him a chance to resolve the issue at his cost.  If this doesn't happen, get eBay involved by escalating the case.  Just make sure you do everything within eBay's time limit (which is pretty long).  

With a feedback rating of approximately 150, I've only had three bad transactions on eBay.  All three times, the seller resolved the issue at no cost to me.  All three sellers ended up with positive feedback from me.  No one is perfect.  Everyone makes mistakes.  What's important is how someone handles their mistakes.

I am worried that he sold Mask to someone else and shipped Pinocchio to the other buyer. If that person doesn't want to exchange, then this could be a problem. I will be happy if I can get Pinocchio. Meantime, I'll scan the Mask box, manual and cart. LOL

FYI.  TM Head On was ported to the PS2, just in case you didn't want to get a PSP.

well I did not know that about Head-on. I don't pay much attention to PS2.
I am aware of the PS3 TM. I saved the promo video and images from Sony's web site.
I am still missing it too.

I'll snag the PS2 version and scan it for us.
I will have to wait for now becaue I am bidding on some GBA and SNES items. I may end up winning...

Awesome!  Seems like an honest mistake.  Happens when you sell multiple things at once.  Glad it worked out!  And to finally have scans for the Mask!

ja, no one is perfect and I was not angry or anything and it would take more than that for me to leave a negative. I would only do that when absolutely necessary. I was mostly concerned about losing Pinocchio. I am happy that everything has worked out. I will definitely buy more from this guy. I'm a happy customer 

I tried to scan the box already but my scanner is not playing nice. I need to clean the glass and find a new place to put it. I have an Epson and it leans forward causing boxes and manuals to slide (not straight.) I have to fight with it. I put a magazine under it to level it but the magazine is waxed and the whole machine slides on the magazine. Epson stinks. what an odd design. I will find a piece of wood tomorrow and rescan.

As a seller, I can't stand when people default to simply opening a case. It actually slows down the whole return/refund/replace process when I am more than willing to help someone should they just send a message. Same with PayPal.

I've had few cases as buyer where when I have tried to contact seller Ebay has forced to open case before I can send the message.

I mean I select contact seller and choose the reason for contacting, last time it was broken item, and Ebay dsirected me to open case before my message was forwarded.

oh ja, could you possibly scan Utopia? I have no scans for this one. I will focus on the European and Japanese versions if you could scan this one please.

I am relatively new to ebay but "open a case" sounds like a last resort to me. I just wrote to the guy and all is well. I am learning as I go.
