Yup, that's why they're worth anything at this point. I thank my mother for my hoarder-like mentality when it comes to holding on to packaging. Never threw away a single box :)

I kept everything as a kid as well.  Unfortunately, we didn't own many games when I was younger.  We rented most of the games we played.  So my collection of original boxes is quite limited.
Maybe, just once, someone will call me "sir" without adding, "you're making a scene."

All my GBA boxes I had in a box in the basement that got ruined by water damage. I'm so upset I still have those games today.

I keep ALL my packaging.

I have to start visiting these forums more now that I'm collecting. It's neat to see some of the stuff you lucky people get for so cheap. I'm always looking these days, so I'll probably have some neat things to post as well. I mostly frequent Goodwill and E-Bay with a thrift store here and there. I'm really looking foward to the spring/summer garage sales in the rural area where I live. I figure some of these families with kids leaving/gone from home will probably be getting rid of some good N64, SNES, PS1, and PS2 stuff. Some of my memorable purchases (sorry I need to share before I look at April):

Time Crisis (CIB w/Namco Guncon) $15
Killer Instinct SNES (w/ manual and strategy guide) for $10
Super Mario Kart, Aladdin (Genesis, CIB, mint), Trouble Shooter (CIB, super mint), Donkey Kong Classics, Bushido Blade 2 (CIB) -- each for $3 (thank you Goodwill)
Contra and Kirby's Adventure $10
Got another NES system with about 15 games (some powerpad), hookups, 4 controllers, and a power Glove w/receivers for around $100
Stumbled upon a Nintendo Miracle Piano with adapter at a thrift for $20 (and they gave me a keyboard stand it was displayed on too, no MIDI cord though)

This April I recently got Blackthorne for SNES, Super Spy Hunter, and Trolls on Treasure Island for about 1/3 of their price. Forsaken 64 CIB (actually NEW, but had a crushed corner on box and torn seal...with poster, cards/inserts) for $5, Battletech CIB for $5, Trap Gunner CIB and Blast Corps CIB for less than half price.

My Dad rented a lot of Nintendo and Genesis games when I was younger, to this day I still remember playing Bubble Bobble 2. Amazing how much that game is worth. I remember friends/relatives who didn't keep their systems like I did, so many expensive games: All Megaman NES games, Mario Party, Smash Bros and Kart games, Intelligent Qube, Metroid and Castlevania games, Contra Force... When my Dad bought our NES he also had the entire ROB the Robot with Gyromite, too bad we didn't keep that when I was younger.

Yup I can confirm all 4 Pokemon boxes are fake. The carts however are legit, yet the manuals are fake as well. I still payed pretty much the going price for cart only (which explains why they were so cheap) so I'm not upset really. I'll still put them on the shelf with my other boxed Gameboy stuff :)

So I got this in the mail today!

And then made myself this!

Oh the madness has just begun... ;)
I think I closed this out before finishing my post, opps.

anyways, interesting choice of games. It's the same game as used here http://callanbrown.com/index.php/basic-nes-reproduction just you used the Stardust Crusaders vs Suicidal Translations one.

Might be hitting you up some, once works over I'm planning on learning to solder (Yes, I'm that far behind) and making a repos myself.  Right now I'm at the "changing batteries in nes carts with holders" stage.  And I have a lot to change out...

Stopped by a local thrift shop the other day and found Harvest Moon 64, Quest 64, Banjo-Kazooie and Banjo-Toiee in their case.  Imagine my delight when they were all marked at $3.00 a pop.

After my conversation with Noemann I had to pick this up.  I consider it part of my Twisted Metal collection.

I also found this today.  My Super Mario Advance collection is finally complete.

And finally, probably my last pickups for the month, I had to get some games for my new PSP.

Great deal for "Remember Me". I played 3 hours in. The whole game has potential and kinda feels like Capcom gave up on it. That and the game holds your hand a lot and with good reason. The combo system in the game is weird and easy to forget.

Been a while since I last posted so I guess this may encompass Feb, March and April.

Couldn't pass up Bravely Default's collector edition and had been wanting Knights of the Round for a while.

Me and my friends decided that we were sick of the Xbox One so onto the PS4. Also had to buy the Nexus 5 after someone broke my GS4 at work.

Slow return to nice weather up here in WNY, but caught a nice weekend and got up to the Flea Market and picked these up for $6 a piece. I tad high for me but I don't usually pass up Gamecube games when I see them.

More thrift shopping finds. Been going to Savers and two others in my area pretty much weekly and had a good day here.

Finally, was waiting for this to drop after Gamestops reprint and finally thought it was at a price worth buying at.

excellent pickup  ;D I will add it to my collection as well. I can't wait to play it. I completely forgot about this game until you mentioned it. I like your Mario pickup too. I have it CIB. The box and manual are in storage. I may have an old scan somewhere if you need it. let me know...

I think i'll play some TM this weekend  ;D
