Negative sir, Auto Awesome is a real thing. My phone's been doing it for a while now, like if I take a picture at night it'll add twinkling lights, or when I took a picture of my front lawn covered in snow, it added falling snow (both animated)
And this is why Google is an amazing company ;D

Whoops, I missed the Hasslehoff part of your post. Yeah that part's a joke (the whole photobomb part of it), but Auto Awesome is a real thing :D
