Finally completed my PS1 Need for Speed subset this evening.

Maybe, just once, someone will call me "sir" without adding, "you're making a scene."

We got different names for some of them in Europe, and the v-rally games were a separate thing, they never took the NFS name.

I've heard that High Stakes and Porsche Unleashed were called NFS4 and NFS5 in other areas, but I've never seen them.

Also V-Rally 2 has a strange story.  On PS1 it was branded as Need for Speed, but on Dreamcast, it was branded as Test Drive.  That's funny to me because NFS and TD were some of the biggest arcade racers at the time competing against each other, and they ended up putting their names on the same game (although released for different systems).

Thanks guys.  It didn't occur to me until later last night that 15 years was so long that he had been with me longer than most of the things in my current life, including my wife, kids, house, cars and most of my things.  I've known for a while that we were close to the end and I prepared myself for it, but it's different when it finally happens.

I was the same when i lost my 16 year old Jack Russell.  He'd been with me through some tough times, and although I already had another dog when I lost him, it hit really hard.

Dogs are definitely a big part of the family and I'm sorry to hear of your loss. You can never truly mentally prepare yourself for their passing. I'm sure he lived a very loved and fulfilling 15 years  :)

I know how rough this is from losing pets in the past.
My deepest condolences.

Not gaming related, but this was last weekend's mini project.
