Well the alternative would be to include the square EA slot like I pictured. But I feel like these cases would be much more desirable without them. |

That's why NES, Game Boy and Game Boy Color cases are top priority for me. Modifying UGCs for NES and DS cases for GB games was starting to get old. Personally, I don't mind UGCs for Sega games since nearly all fit without modification. Likewise with SNES and N64. |

We only have 3 stores that sell vintage games. Each story has hundreds of cheap, complete sports games. It's not like EA crappy sports games are expensive or hard to find. They are cheap and plentiful. |

And reproducing Sega Genesis cases to fit EA games isn't really the important factor here. The real issue is that it's been "many" years now that people have been looking for a good quality replacement case for standard Genesis games. Do a quick forum search and you'll find that the only answer ever given is to buy up cheap sports and sub out the cases that way. But I never see anyone asking around as to where they can get EA cases. And that's probably because the answer for that is already quite simple. Plus honestly speaking, if someone buys a case of say 50 cases, realistically how many are going to be used for EA games? Maybe 5 or so? Just doesn't feel worth it in the long run. If these cases are gonna happen, its probably most important to appeal to the main focus of these cases and reproduce a good quality original. That's where the majority of the interest will be. And with these cases having so much more potential in other places than just the cover project, I think that would be the safest route as well. I can see a lot of die hard Sega fans going crazy over something so close to an original reproduction. Well it's clear me and segamer are very passionate about the possibility of a faithful reproduction case! ;) |

I second the genesis cases. If you do make them they have to have the hang tab. |
