No problem dude.

And I think thickes SNES manual is about 100 pages and 7mm thick.
I'll check  next wwek when I havve time to rummage my manual box.

The NES Dragon Warriors are also quite thick... and you also need to add the maps, etc.
I was thinking about using a fully emptied UGC to put all DW 1-2-3-4 manuals and maps together.

One option to make the case thicker and still use the same cover template/size, would be to cut the cover in 3 pieces and insert it in it's separate pocket, pretty much like a local library does with paperback books. Not sure if that would be a welcomed feature though.

Hmmm.... I am not a SEGA guy... (right now I wish I was) I guess I need to find an authentic SEGA Genesis Clamshell... color? Black? Would you want that tabby thing on top?

Pros and Cons:
Pros: SEGA Clamshell would be easy to do, no explaining alterations, or sizes, just clone it and go! (minus the whole SEGA logo thing ;) )
Cons: I personally am not confident in the volume of sales for this particular cases, mainly due to my ignorance. However, I can be fatally wrong and it will suck my time to pay off the mould to get to the next case type.

Black of course! And yeah, no logo would be best. I think the hang tab should be present. This would keep them just like the originals, and they can always be removed. I personally would keep them on my cases as that's the way they came when you bought them new.

Honestly, I can see Sega cases doing much better than these new UGC's. Not that I don't think the UGC's wouldn't do well either, but Sega Clamshells are something that have yet to be perfectly replicated and made available, period. As where UGC's have been around for some time now and I'm sure many people are already waist deep in the originals at this point. I'm not trying to talk down to the idea by any means, but I see more potential with Sega Cases.

And just like segamer mentioned, you could make a killing selling these on ebay and just about any other forum dedicated to retro collecting such as this. Plus the word would spread fast, through much more than just the Cover project which is pretty much where the UGC gets the majority of its attention, where the Genesis cases would have no bounds as to have far the word could spread.

It really does surprise me no one has decided to reproduce these yet given just how huge collecting has become over the years. Someone needs to tap into that potential sooner or later...
Azarkhel:
Agreed with Chad, Sega Clamshells will get you enough capital for your next two case molds I reckon.
irvgotti452:
I would personally buy 50 sega clamshells over the ugc's.
