:-\ That's crazy! (Well maybe I can combine that case mould when I create the Rumble Pak case mould  ;) )

So I think we'll go with Color Dreams/Camerica carts as max for this mould (I would like a MM thickness for these little guys) I'm pretty sure I have the everything else I need for the mould factory... except for the spine thickness for these NES cases.

THIS!  :)

Don't make a HUGE case just to accommodate 2-5 games.

I would suggest making both. Create a standard and then a special for thicker. Little Red hood is a very rare game so its not likely a case that fits it would be a bigger seller, but i can see the community wanting to be able to fit games that arent standard.

Id say if he made one that fit it and we had covers for the few games that needed that kind of space designed, there would be a demand.... just very small.

Do keep in mind though that for Shadowfox to break even on his investment then he would need to sell 15,000 - 20,000 cases. I don't see cases that only supports 5 games moving that many. At least for the moment it would be wiser to concentrate on the majority.

Hell, wiggy can make some double wides ;)

^^^ Are you agreeing that Color Dreams/Camerica cart should be the max? Or are you saying I should throw them in with the secondary mould with the Little Red Hood?

Just trying to clarify your opinion. :-)

Even with the bulges they do not affect height, otherwise the way my carts are stacked would be lopsided.

impossible mission was released by AVE and SEI in the US.  It's the only SEI cart game so I can't say on thoese.  But depth is limited by the actual nes tray too, so they all have the same max sizes on all axis.

So it is, SEI cart, you're right.  I was working from memory at work, and I just remembered the big "Epyx" in the upper corner, not the tiny "SEI" in the bottom one.  It's a different SHAPE than standard gray carts, but not really any different dimensions.

Alright so home and awake.  The thumb bit on the Color Dreams definitely beats the Camerica bulge, though not by much, maybe a mm or so.  Unfortunately, I do NOT trust myself to get an accurate measurement with my tape measure or even my ruler.  If no one else can provide, I can get you a mm measurement on thickness in a couple days though, a buddy of mine has calipers I can use and I'm over there every couple days.

Heh seems backwards, I know, but I just expect my hands to go all Parkinson's and like shake like mad and make it impossible to get an accurate reading with a ruler (especially since I was always taught not to trust the beginning of a ruler, so I'd be trying to go from one side to the other) down to the mm, whereas the calipers are essentially just "clamp on, read what it says", no shaky hand issue.

I've got a reasonably steady hand most of the time, but for some reason when I'm trying to take exact measurements it just gets like I downed a 32oz cup of espresso made with red bull instead of water.

No worries! I got the sizes I needed   ;) Now what I need to know is the smaller NES booklet what is the dimensions. (I need this info for the placement of the booklet clips in the left side.)

Thanks!

All of these projects are very impressive!

Do you have a unit price in mind for these? Forgive me if you answered this before.
