ohh, i always thought the problem was that with the manual it was a little difficult to close. though that seymor onion was adding that little extra in the spine for that reason :P.

I think he added little bit width and height so SNES manuals fit and thickness (=Spine width) so thicker EU Manuals would fit too.

Ah sorry man. Wasn't taking in consideration the EU manuals.

WOO!!!
This is what I get for creating this thread and going to work right after! (lol)
OK! Item Number 1: What is the thickest booklet for any game cart that would typically fit into an UGC. (So I am only thinking about these type of games and thier booklets.) My objective here is to see if the thickest booklet along with it's proper game cart could nicely fit into the existing UGC thickness.
4MM's for height (2MM up + 2MM down = CHECK)
Then lastly, is the UGC's lefthand interior side wide enough to accomodate any/all booklets for all it's type of game carts?
And yes, NES would also be extremely easy to do (Since it would only be a new right side of the mould.) and would more than likely cost the same per unit as the new UGCs.
Sega Genesis Clamshells.
Hmmm.... I am not a SEGA guy... (right now I wish I was) I guess I need to find an authentic SEGA Genesis Clamshell... color? Black? Would you want that tabby thing on top?
Pros and Cons:
Pros: SEGA Clamshell would be easy to do, no explaining alterations, or sizes, just clone it and go! (minus the whole SEGA logo thing ;) )
Cons: I personally am not confident in the volume of sales for this particular cases, mainly due to my ignorance. However, I can be fatally wrong and it will suck my time to pay off the mould to get to the next case type.

Nope, no tabby thing. I'm sure you can sell tens of thousands on ebay.

Tabby thing... maybe but not absolutely nesessary.
And yes I too truely believe that Segaclamshells would sell like hotcakes.
But UGC replacements first.
