The Rise of a new UGC :)

1) Fits their game without modification or fits their game better\more snug
2) cheaper than a ugc
3) looks better
4) just to have a collection that looks different
5) features a ugc didn't have

Maybe more, but I can only think of these off the top of my head.  For me, bit boxes are great because of 1,3,4 (maybe 5, thinking of manuals still)

--- End quote ---

I think the MAIN reason I would be building these would be to use the cases to fill out my own orders via my site, however, I do want these thought through so others will be able to use these cases to suit their needs as well. This NES case will for sure accomplish items 1,3,and 5. (Not exactly sure about item 4, but I'm guessing this one also.)
As for item 2 a UGC costs $0.52-$0.56ea delivered. A NES BitBox is $3.99 + Cheapest Shipping $3.94 so $7.93 delivered. (and I'm sure this price per unit probably could be cut in half if you ordered enough) But even at half ($3.96) it's over 7 times more expensive than a UGC.
These NES cases (UGC sized) would accomplish the same goal as a BitBox (or a current modded UGC!) but I'll be trying to attain a $1.00ea price point. More than likely something along the line of the GB cases pricing.

I don't want to hijack your thread, but your BitBox pricing is a bit disingenuous. You are taking a single case shipped by itself. At least you should compare 100-pack vs. 100-pack if you want to compare prices. Yes BitBox still quite a bit more, but you are stating it as if 100 BitBoxes would be $400 shipped. That's not even remotely correct.

I just wanted to point that out, I will let my self out.  :)

Hey StoneAge! Sorry, I couldn't find the bulk pricing, but I knew it would be aggressive. (Was I close with the half price shipped? $3.96ea?)

I am not dissing your BitBoxs, I think they are very sharp and every well thought out. And for the guys who don't have UGCs already and are willing to pay a few extra pennies, they are a great casing solution! My main goal with my cases is too keep the UGC size, use hard plastic, and keep the price around $1.00-ish. I think at the end of the day my cases will be the middle ground between existing UGC (Which is all we got since forever now) and your BitBoxes (Which are very nice, and sharp looking)
