so, im going through my 'game's to buy' list (updating/adding games) and i notice that i havent got any version of MK3 down, i have to pick it up now 'cos i have 1 and 4, and 2 is on the list, but...

which version do i go for??

  • Think off-center.
Ultimate MK3 on the sega genesis I would say though I fancy the saturn version. Trilogy on the playstation 1 also.

Regular plain old MK3, what probably SNES or PS1? Of course Don't forget Midway Arcade Treasures. Also, I liked Trilogy better on N64.

The biggest problem with disc based MK3's is that Shang Tsung has to load anytime he Morphs. I'd probably go with cartridge based MK3.

Shang Tsung morph takes about 5 seconds of load time everytime he changes. Even if you aren't playing as Shang Tsung, every time you fight against him, the game feels broken.
