@marioxb I got recipes that can make certain veggie plates taste like meat ;). I love all foods and vegetables, when i was younger that was not the case. I can't eat a meal now a days if its not accompanied by greens or roots. But you're right I guess its not for everybody. |

Nuff said. Lol --- End quote --- I drink a lot of Pike coffee at Starbucks. I keep the paper cup they give me and use it for as long as possible (I'll get a least a week out of a cup) to take advantage of 50 cent refills. I never used to like coffee when I was younger, same with alcohol, but over the years I acquired a taste for both and now crave coffee everyday. I rarely drink alcohol nowadays (probably no more than once a month) and when I do I am extremely careful not to drink too much because I used to have a drinking problem in my youth. I overcame my problem late 2006 and am proud of my sobriety. It takes me at least a couple days to finish a big beer on the rare occasion I indulge. --- End quote --- I work a lot and coffee is my best friend. I used to work at starbucks and thats when I got hooked because they actually make you taste all of their coffees black...all of them. Also @fritzwhite you can get a refill of a tea and ask for a double cup instead of the sleeve to avoid having to pay for a new cup ;). @e_brugal I remember my first drinks in DR, Brugal Añejo and MacAlbert and a fridge full of Presidentes. I was 17 :D --- End quote --- Nice to know you came to DR ;D, I drink Brugal Añejo and Extra Viejo, Brugal was my family business, it was founded by my great great grandfather in 1888 until 2009 when 60% of the actions were bought by the edrington group a Scottish company Presidente is an excellent beer. When you came, in which city did you stay? |

I can't stand the smell of sour mash now. --- Quote from: marioxb on March 14, 2014, 09:31:35 PM ---Sorry guys, but this definitely doesn't happen for everyone. My tastes have not changed one bit since I was a kid. I'm just turned 38 in January and I still have ALL of the exact same tastes I had as a kid. Can't stand alcohol or coffee AT ALL. Never been drunk, never had or will have any desire to. I drink Pepsi, Coke, Mountain Dew, and fruit juices (real and fake ones) mostly. I can't stand cold or hot coffee products. Not one thing that Starbucks sells. Anything that has the word coffee, latte, mocha, -chino or anything like that is not for me. I can't stand anything made with coffee or alcohol, including coffee ice cream or rum balls. I also never liked or will like vegetables, other than corn, potatoes or cooked carrots. --- End quote --- It's ok, everybody's different :) I used to love Mountain Dew but stopped drinking soda a few years ago because I thought it was unhealthy at the time and dropped a few bad habits all at once (quit smoking 2010). My mom's been drinking diet coke everyday for years and she's still healthy so I don't think it's that big deal anymore as long as it's not excessive (like a lot of things actually). I wouldn't drink Mountain Dew in the US though because it contains BVO which is banned in over 100 countries |
