I know this is kinda strange for a game related site, but there are other off topics here so WTH I'll post anyway.

Is there any car enthusiasts in the Europe area that would be willing to hunt some parts for me?
I've got a 97 VW Jetta VR6 that I'm looking for parts for.

I'm looking for a Euro headlight switch with headlight adjuster, the adjuster harness, headlights and adjustment motors, and a Rear fog harnes.

(Posting this now but in the process of editing to show parts I need.)

I can help with that.  I've done lots of putting things in cars that didn't belong there in the 1st place ;)

This is more or less what I want mine to look like.

But since I don't want to cut up my own console, I'm going to have to find another console first lol.

This might sound blasphemous but if you are putting it in your car i'd recommend the emulation route. Mainly because I wouldn't trust having some of my carts stored in my car. Plus I don't think lugging along a whole bunch of carts in the car would be very easy.

Emulation on the road, real deal at home :)

This. I installed an intel atom mobo with rca/svideo out into a 96 suburban with some decent Chinese monitors and that worked beautifully.  Pretty much ran any video file/dvd and emulators easy. Im tryna find pics because we had cut open the center console and fit a smal custom wood box.

I understand your point, I don't want to lug around a bunch of carts and I won't either. But I want the real deal put in my car. I can't transfer saves to and from my original carts and don't want to be playing the same game twice.

Also this really deviated from my main goal lol.

I do the same. When I travel and get the itch to play old games, I usually just take my psp with me that has a bunch of different emulators installed. But at home its all real games on a crt tv on an old sofa
