Sorry if this is a dumb question. But I am currently using Legal size paper for UGC and DVD covers. Will A4 paper work just as well?

Thanks,

Tom

Nope, it will be too short for either UGC or DVD sized covers.

A4 works, I use it.

Set margins to less than 5mm and the print fits.

Oh, sure. If you resize it. ;)

I was just thinking without resizing.

Resize what?  Image doesn't need resizing with a4.

Yep, no resizing, you just need to set the margins to minimum = less than 5mm and the UGC covers print in full, DVD needs even less margins.

I've switched to using a light weight photo paper from red river, full gloss.  100 sheets is about $23, and $32 for legal size. Since they're in the case, and have no bleed through, the thinner paper works fine for me, and easier to cut.

A UGC cover is 11.22 x 7 inches, A4 paper is 11.7 x 8.3 if you do portrait. Standard US paper is 11 x 8.5, so we just can't quite get the width.  DS cases will fit on a US page, but your boarders will give you issues depending on printer.
