If it hadn't sold out, I would have grabbed the 360 version from the Microsoft store. I finally just saw Casino Royal and Quantum of Solace and am officially hooked on the Daniel Craig version of Bond. Good pickup.

It was a local ad on my Kijiji. I thankfully spammed his inbox enough to score the lot! A few snes things that I wanted were gone already, but I still got almost everything.

One day. I don't display everything like other members. Plus, about three years ago, my house was burglarized and my collection was stolen. So I had to start over and I don't feel like my collection is at a place I can be proud of.

I don't think a collection has to be huge to be impressive or interesting. I'm always curious to see other gamers' setups no matter the size, but I don't think I'd want to show my stuff to other people either if I'd been burglarized. I hate thieves. I don't think I'd collect again if everything disappeared. I'd probably get a modded xbox or an everdrive to get my nerd fix on.

I got burgled about 11 years ago....3 times in 3 months!  What wasn't stolen in terms of games, i ended up selling.  But the compulsion to collect again didnt take long, and I started again maybe 8 years ago.  Now im approaching 3000 games across almost 40 platforms.

Awesome pickup segamer! If you don't mind me asking, how much did you end up paying for House of the Dead? That is one of the few saturn games I really want but I just can't seem to muster up the $100.00 asking price on eBay

A bit of both - i would definitely call myself more a collector than a gamer - but the intention is to play them.

Mostly eBay lots, and swapping dupes.

Just after I decided to start again, i went a little crazy on eBay (before ebay prices were silly) - and the post office had to send a van with 3 sacks full of stuff.  Was extremely embarassing - but it was like all my Christmasses came at once. lol    Wish i had taken photos.  Theres quite a few people around here with considerably larger collections than me.

Unfortunately, I paid $145... Which is about the current trending price.
