VT!

I finally got all of my raws up. Sorry it took a bit, I have been busy with school. Apparently Auburn gets full, Troy University was a bust, so I just enrolled in Columbus State. Which was a pain in the ass but it was worth it. You think with a 2 year degree a place like Auburn wouldn't say sorry sir were full.  ???

Anyways...

US Games
VR Soccer
NASCAR 98
Virtual On: Cyber Troopers
Frank Thomas Big Hurt Baseball
Revolution X
Worldwide Soccer
NFL Quarterback Club 97
Pebble Beach Golf Links

Japanese Games
Mobile Suit Gundam
Mobile Suit Gundam: Side Story 2
Mobile Suit Gundam: Side Story 3
SD Gundam: G Century
Dragonball Z Shinbutohden
Powerful Pro Baseball 1995

Well there we go, Now we have tons of good raws to work with. They are alot better than those first ones I did about 3 or 4 months ago.

All of my scans say gholla in front of them.

Also Grumbleduke... is Elevator Action Returns any good?

ALRIGHT!!

I'll start working on them as soon as I finish the admin stuff I have pending.  Hopefully I'll have most of the covers done by Week's end.

P.S.... yeah!... is Elevator Action Returns any good?      if its anything like the original, IT MUST BE AWESOME!

Game Ware Volume 3
http://www.thecoverproject.net/uploads/the7k.custom.saturn_gameware3_jp.jpg

Yet another crappy cover for a crappy "game"... it's more like a disc advertisers give out to push useless crap. There aren't even any demos if I recall correctly, just crappy product-based games that make Flash games look like Bio Shock. No real effort was put into this cover, but it's not like there was a whole lot to work with. I mean, I could make a better cover, but it would be casting pearls before swine.

Next on the agenda: Black/Matrix, Airs Adventure, Magical School Lunar, Lunar Silver Star Story, Lunar Silver Star Story Complete, Lunar 2 Eternal Blue, Grandia, Samurai Showdown RPG, Three Dirty Dwarves, Gungirffon, Virtual On and Die Hard Arcade. (I know that there are covers for the last three, but they don't follow the same US white and grey bars format.)

Samurai Spirits: Bushidohretsuden

Another great RPG never released to America. I really enjoy this game, but I am a bit of an SNK fanboy. Thank god the Neo Geo CD version is finally being translated (albeit unofficially).

Yeah, I really stole grumbleduke's idea from Elevator Action Returns with this, but it was about the best plan I had. Otherwise, there just would have been a ton of negative space in the center that just wouldn't have looked right. Just remember Grumbleduke, imitation is some sort of flattery 'n all that jazz.

It's going to be kind of funny when the price for Elevator Action Returns goes up, all because we all want the same game at the same time, all because grumbleduke made us aware of its existence.

Didn't think it was nessesary to make a new thread for this, so I'll ask here:

could someone (maybe the7k) make standard dvd covers please for the following covers that are already on the site in slim DVD format:

Doom
Megaman X3
Megaman 8
Metal Slug
Panzer Dragoon
Parodius (PAL)
Radiant Silvergun
Resident Evil

I realize this is a fair amount of work to do, but I just want all the spines to look nice and even on my shelf. Thanks!

satoshi_matrix: would you want accurate translations of these covers, because if so, I'd need the raws. Otherwise, if you would like pure custom covers, I can probably just use info and pics off the internets.

For Resident Evil, there is this thread: http://www.thecoverproject.net/forums/index.php?topic=1779.msg18292;topicseen#new

By the way, when can I expect the covers no longer in uploads to be on the site?

Black/Matrix
http://www.thecoverproject.net/uploads/the7k.custom.saturn_blackmatrix_jp.jpg

Yet another awesome series that hasn't once come to these shores. Some believe its because of the "disturbing religious references", but it's nowhere near as bad as the MegaTen series, if you ask me. Of course, it did take a while for that one to come here too.

Lunar 2: Eternal Blue
http://www.thecoverproject.net/uploads/the7k.custom.saturn_lunar2_jp.jpg

Decided to take a break from obscurity and go for a game everybody knows. Rare that I pop out two covers in one night, but now it's well pasted my bed time. Hope you guys enjoy.

Fyi:  The front image is off frame. You can see a black line on the top of the art between it and the template.

Actually, I put that there intentionally. Without the black line separating the image from the template, there was no real transition and it didn't look right.

I just picked up about 9 Japanese Saturn games on ebay. So I will have them scanned in as soon as I get them.

 ;D

I am eying this Decathlete and Winter Heat set for just $30. I dunno if I want to pick up that set or get Beijing 2008 for the PS3.  ???

Winter Heat, I forgot all about that game. It's another title I need to pick up. I also got about 10 games coming in that I'll need to make covers for when they get here. Some of them are good ones, like Magical Hoppers and Puyo Puyo Sun. Others are games that would probably only appeal to fans of the respective properties they're based on, but at least this time they're all games that I want.

Because I've had some emails/PMs asking for some of the covers that have been uploaded, I uploaded a rar file of all the covers I've made for the Saturn that are no longer in uploads. That would be everything from Vampire Savior to Kekkon:Marriage.

the7k: I dont care about covers being totally accurite, just as long as they look good ans the spines all match up. Thanks for the RE cover. If you can just made spines for regular DVD cases for the following games using the covers already on the site, that'd be great:

Doom
Megaman X3
Megaman 8
Metal Slug
Panzer Dragoon
Parodius (PAL)
Radiant Silvergun
