What software are you using to create the vectoring effect?

Free; what exactly do I gain from tokens, aside from no watermark (which is easy enough to get around)? I'd think as much as I use it, I'd be better off subscribing anyway.

Slayers Royal 2
http://www.thecoverproject.net/uploads/the7k.custom.saturn_slayersroyal2_jp.jpg

Well, this was a time consuming one. On the bright side, it did give me a lot of time to spend with the cutest dragon slayer there is. Since the cover wasn't something I could just scale to DVD size, I just cut Lina out of the original cover and made a collage similar to the one on the original cover. Hope you guys enjoy.

The real way to create vectors is with software like Google SketchUp or Adobe Illlustrator. I tried it once very briefly but it looked too complicated. Hexxxer's ESRB rating logos were vectors I think until he exported them to an image. Ask him.

I have been messing with illustrator lately (thankfully I got a free version from my work). But as you said, it is a bit complicated.

Here are some tutorials for vectorizing images in Illustrator:

Be sure to crank up the volume in the video tutorial, as the sound is very low.

6inch My Darling
http://www.thecoverproject.net/uploads/the7k.custom.saturn_6inchmydarling_jp.jpg

Well, here's a game that... well, you really shouldn't have this game at all, but if you do happen to have it, here is a cover for it. Unfortunately, this game just isn't very good, and it's not even bad enough that its funny to torture friends (or yourself) with. It's just boring, even as visual novels go. I couldn't recommend it unless you are a Saturn or Visual Novel collector of the highest order. I myself only got it because I had a flat-shipping rate from a Hong Kong dealer on eBay and just decided to get as much crap as I could since it wouldn't matter anyway. Shipping still ran me more than twice what I ordered.

Oh yeah, about all the vectoring, I might have to see if I can snag a copy of Adobe Illustrator CS2 from the computers in the art lab when I get back to college. As it stands, Adobe charges way, way, WAY too much for it. I guess Adobe wants to make sure that "Starving Artist" cliche stays true.

Quovadis
http://www.thecoverproject.net/uploads/the7k.custom.saturn_quovadis_jp.jpg

For some reason, this cover was a freaking hassle to vector. It still doesn't look as good as it should, but I just gave up and decided to move on. This is yet another Tactical/Strategy RPG, I guess it's impossible to hide that it's one of my favorite genres, regardless of language. This game is interesting enough, I'd actually say go for it if your a fan of Turn-Based Strategy games, don't mind the language barrier and find it for pretty cheap (I got mine in that huge batch of Saturn import games that included 6inch My Darling above).

Edit: Oh yeah, and it is supposed to be Quovadis, even though the logo makes it look like Quovanis.

Battle Monsters
http://www.thecoverproject.net/uploads/the7k.custom.saturn_battlemonsters_jp.jpg

Remember when I was talking about a game so bad that it's funny to torture people with? This is the game I was specifically talking about. It's the as close as you'll come to "Plan 9 in Outer Space" quality with a game, but it is hilarious playing this with friends who just want to do stupid shit when they play video games. Chances are, if you bid on a fighting game lot, it'll include this game because they can't sell it otherwise. I got this with a lot that include Marvel Super Heroes, Street Fighter Alpha 2 and Night Warriors, and I'd say the other three games made it totally worth the $15.

Edit: Btw, Grumbleduke, how is that Elevator Action Returns? I'm interested, but the price tags have been $45 to $65, which is pretty expensive.

Its rather good for two, but not so much fun for one. Does have the original Elevator Action locked away inside which becomes available on completing it though. $45 would be on the limit I.M.O, $65 is a bit steep.

Well, may have to get it next time I see it and can afford it. Still so many Saturn games I don't have, and I'm always looking for a good two-player (or more) game.

Anyways...
Kekkon: Marriage
http://www.thecoverproject.net/uploads/the7k.custom.saturn_kekkonmarriage_jp.jpg

Yeah... obviously, if I didn't get this one for practically free, I'd have never gone for it. Never played it, but from what I understand it's a fairly technical dating sim that allows you to be a man or a woman (or at least go after men or women). With all the micro-management I've heard that is involved, plus marriage not exactly being my cup of virtual reality tea, it doesn't particularly interest me. Still, it needed a cover!

I should be moving on to the good games soon enough, only a few more crappy or sub par games to go.

VT!

I finally got all of my raws up. Sorry it took a bit, I have been busy with school. Apparently Auburn gets full, Troy University was a bust, so I just enrolled in Columbus State. Which was a pain in the ass but it was worth it. You think with a 2 year degree a place like Auburn wouldn't say sorry sir were full.  ???

Anyways...

US Games
VR Soccer
NASCAR 98
Virtual On: Cyber Troopers
Frank Thomas Big Hurt Baseball
Revolution X
Worldwide Soccer
NFL Quarterback Club 97
Pebble Beach Golf Links

Japanese Games
Mobile Suit Gundam
Mobile Suit Gundam: Side Story 2
Mobile Suit Gundam: Side Story 3
SD Gundam: G Century
Dragonball Z Shinbutohden
Powerful Pro Baseball 1995

Well there we go, Now we have tons of good raws to work with. They are alot better than those first ones I did about 3 or 4 months ago.

All of my scans say gholla in front of them.

Also Grumbleduke... is Elevator Action Returns any good?
