Sharpening End Nippers?
Blumpkin:
What quickfinger said. I don't have Harbor Freight in my region, but found a cheap oscillating multi tool on eBay.
wiggy:
Just be warned, OP, they're loud as fuck!
YukonCornelius:
They make a mess, too! I found that the convenience of the tool being fast didn't outweigh the fact that it's loud and messy. I've also ruined a few cases using these tools. They're so fast to use that there's a higher potential for making mistakes, at least for me.
quickfingers818:
Yes, they are messy and they are loud. But if you have a system to where you can do a lot of them at once, its not that bad. I do it outside my house and cleanup is pretty simple. And once you get a good feel for using the tool, it becomes very easy to mod and minimize mistakes. It might sound tedious but in the end the time and callouses you save are well worth it.
Lashek:
The one I got from Harbor Freight has a variable speed. I set it to the lowest setting and it's really not all that loud.
Takes a little more time to prep a case, but works beautifully and does minimal damage to the UGC.
The one I have is here and the speed dial is above the cord:
