I did quick inplant of the small guy and altough it needs cleaning I think it looks better:

I made a green vest/shirt for you too but it is not exact. I had to hurry. I don't have scans to look at and I'm not familiar with the art. I have a little trouble with the stage-right shoulder. I can't tell what is a vest and what is flesh. I don't have alot of time right now but i can try again later. If i can find a decent size photo of the boxes, then i will help trying to identify a font.
