I've been working on my N64 spines lately.
I'm happy with my old SNES spines, and I have no cases for NES until Onion comes out.

I used Larry's SNES spines then made my own minimal designs for my NES and N64 with retail art on the front and back for all three. Here's a pic of all three side by side:

The N64 logos are sideways to accommodate how they are displayed in my setup.

Has anybody else had problems uploading to Image Shack? It keeps telling me to pay for a premium account. I updated my earlier post with pics from mediafire.

Larry I wonder how your SNES Zelda spine would look with gold background. Same for Super Mario World with blue spine. DKC with red green and yellow, etc. Each game has a "theme" color or a color most associated with it. Wanna give it a shot?

If anything, I would say a small strip right above the logo at the bottom of the spine, separating it from the title would be where you put the "color" based on the association of game. Primarily for the primary genre of the game.

I like the Escapist's breakdown of game genre's.
