The Ultimate version cost pretty penny!
As I first had to buy the cart and have it shipped from Italy to Finland, then ship it to USA. = 40 Euros
It also needed the lockout chip fropm US FX cart. =30 bucks I think it was
then the actual work including overclocking parts = 120 bucks
And shipping to Finland. = 12 bucks

Thanks but I already spoke to that guy about the winter gold version but he told me that he would not make it because he says it makes no difference if he uses Stunt Race FX or Winter Gold. He told me that using the SFX2 chip is a myth that has been busted and that it does not increase slow down at all.

The difference is not noticeable until you compare the 2.

yes there is difference if you compare the 2 side by side.
It's not big, but when there is lot of stuff going on at once the FX2 version does not glitch graphically, where as the FX1 version does.

IMO, the overclocked version is crap. It wasn't intended to run at that speed, so you're playing it in a way that it wasn't meant to be played.

Get yourself a good old Stunt Race FX version. Cheap-ass donor, plus save function.

So this is SLIGHTLY off topic but I was thinking about having a game cart developed (I was thinking for the SNES StarFox 2 myself) That would be able to have any rom file flashed. I would only really want something with a low memory cause I like the idea of only having 1 rom per cart. But the cart would be the correct size of standard SNES boards. These carts would come with a USB dock that can be plugged into your PC and all you would have to do is drop the rom file in, burn it, place it in a shell and slap a label on it. Just like the cases I'm doing the main cost is the development but after that, these little carts should only be a few bucks...
