Yep, Game Collectorz is the best commercial software. I used the trial, adding games and info is pretty easy since the program searches for info on amazon and other sites and adds it automatically. The only downside is that you have to add the info for older games (SNES and the like) or games for unpopular systems (3DO, Jaguar, exotic systems like Neo Geo, ...) manually. Which means if you're trying to be as accurate as possible you have to search the net for pictures of your games and info like publisher, release date, upc, etc.
Personally I use a web based solution to keep track of my games. There's a German site called Online Games Datenbank (in English: Online games databank). It basically is like imdb.com just for games. You can add games to your collection, edit the info for a game or add a game to the site which was previously not there. Kinda like Wikipedia. You can generate a link to your collection to show to others which looks like this http://www.onlinegamesdatenbank.de//collection.php?userid=1207.
For the few people on this board who don't speak German ( ;) ) there's a site called http://www.vgrebirth.com which works the same way.

Game Collectorz is a great piece of software and if you use it in conjunction with mobygames abd other sources you've got plenty of stuff to fill in....
