I just wanted to contribute for people like me that would like the extra colors option (skin tones) with the black back and without the bandana and belts coloring blaring at you. While I was "combining", I did a lot more that you (if you took time to take a better look) can see.
It's okay though, I guess it's like at any forum I've been to, you have to have 5367847463 replies, to not receive condescending comments.

Shenske is one of the nice guys around here - if you can't take friendly advice from him, you really aren't going to have much fun here.. Don't judge us by the experiences you've had on other forums - you've only got to read to see were a friendly bunch.... The only thing that winds most people up around here is whining and bitching.

I second this notion. Almost all the regulars around these forums are extremely friendly and would only give advice and criticize in a constructive manner, especially Shenske.

I wasn't going to reply initially, because I'm not the type that has the need to do so to prove a point on the internet, despite what you may think. However, you said something and it went: "Don't judge us by the experiences...(refer to quote, especially the last sentence)" and it only confirmed what I said.
Not only was the response the almost exact replica of the scenarios I was refering to, but it came from, no more or less, than an admin.
I understand people have their own cliques and ofcourse everybody is going to swoop in and "defend (for whatever reason)" the people that are in them, but way to go to greet new and eager ("bitching") members in such a manner.
Logging out and probably never logging back in, not that it's of anyone's importance. Feel free to delete this thread.

Sorry if you interpreted that i was condescending as this was not my intention.
In a nutshell the cover you previewed appears to be one cover placed over the other and the top layer is partially transparent (i made the covers so i can tell the small little details that are unique to each of them that have nothing to do with the skin tones & bandannas ;) ). The transparent layer also has some parts entirely erased (ie the knee-pads, elbow-pads, wrist etc). A cover that is basically just combining elements from two existing covers is a bit redundant. The "blaring color" is 100% on purpose. I wasn't trying to go for realistic skin-tones because we already had a cover like that. I based mine off of the action figures, hence the strong vibrancy of color.
In regards to coming back to the site again, do as you wish. We are all gamers trying to case our collection and have some fun customizing art. There is and always will be constructive criticism in the attempts of creating the best coverart possible.
