Here is my attempt of a Power Base Converter cover. Though it refers to the one produced by Sega for the model 1 Genesis, this would be for third party ones based on db-elec board, etc.

I've put some effort into keeping the essence of what was on the official Power Base Converter box:

- The text on the back is 100% the same
- The front covert art representing a perspective view of master system covers has been done from scratch with cover available here, but is similar that that original box art
- Black background with white lines
- Simple logo white on black (though I added some style to make it less boring)

  • I have no label. Maybe I'm not a gamer at all?

If it's for the cartridge based converters, I'd change the text to remove compatibility with 3d games, and the card games. And maybe change the picture to one of the actual adapter?   Front looks great though.

Thanks! I'll also remove the reference to Double Dragon. The original tile of games included it, but it's not included in this one since I could not find it.

I was also debating whether or not I used the right front template. Should the title fill in the gap in the _/      \_  space below the covert art? If so, the Style 1 (full width covert art with large bottom gap might be more appropriate

This cover is perfect. I just recently bought the power base converter that they are selling at that one site  ;) and have had it lying loose on my shelf. Thanks for this!

Thanks! You just made my day ;) I was hoping somebody else would like to do the same thing to.
That's the reason why I wanted to create a cover for this. I want everything in a case and nothing loose.
I'll still create a few variations of the cover, with the revised text, generic adapter picture and perhaps a different template for the front.

Even though I made this for the UGC format, I'll resize it before printing so it fits in a genesis case (set the “Width” to 3188 pixels and the “Height” to 2020 pixels... as per http://www.thecoverproject.net/forums/index.php?topic=6763.msg56181#msg56181). I've bought a few cheap sports game just to get spare cases ;)

Here is an updated version with more relevant text, including exclusion of 3-D games and list of games requiring the old SMS control pad to work.
I also changed the image for the generic card. I noted the image source under it. If that is not allowed on covers I can remove it (the owner of the image is OK with that).
I plan to do version for each different card case (I know only about two of them).

If you keep making random covers for your collection and share it on these forums, you'd be surprised as to how many people would end up using them.
