So I don't use UGC's as I don't really have the space for them in my current setup.  Instead to protect my loose carts, I use clear plastic boxes from www.videogameboxprotectors.com which are great and really cheap compared to UGCs.  The one thing that I missed about doing this was not being able to print out artwork for them. Then, when I was messing around with creating this Castlevania Trilogy box set using these cases it hit me, why not just make inserts to put in the box?

Looks nice. And in the upper part, to get the game out, there's no paper right?

Thanks! No, I didn't put any paper on the top or bottom. Just around the sides.

Does the paper stay put when you take the game out?

Yeah, the paper is in there tight enough where it's not moving when the game is taken out.

Looks great. Kinda looks like you have the real retail box with a plastic box protector.

$55 for 100, not really saving much other than space =(.  I like my alternatives more, but nice idea!

Ah, yeah, he will do sales every now and then so I usually wait and load up when he does those.  But I guess your right, not a ton cheaper.

Are you trying to go for more of the retail look for your cases?

Very cool ideal!  I am seriously considering trying this with the regular sized box protectors as I would be able to fit the bigger manuals inside the cases without worrying about bending or damaging them.

Cool ideas with the Box Protectors. Might give it a go with some of my spares.

Thanks guys!  I'll post some pics of them lined up when I get them printed out.

I'm going for a whatever works best for me look lol.  I've never been a big fan of the huge black square on the spine for the NES template but these are obviously not retail either.  I'm cutting off some of the artwork (trying to keep as much as I can) and pretty much all of the legal text (keeping the "story" text) to make these fit.  It hasn't been too bad yet modifying these down do the correct size.
