Looks good noemann. I still think the back text would benefit form a drop shadow though  :-\

Agreed.

On that note what is the "correct" dropshadow color, size and direction.

I did try adding dropshadow once but the result was not good.

Thanks, Shenske. Glad that you like it.

I made the cover for TCP. If the standard covers have a dropshadow and you want it added to the back, then just let me know how you typically apply it. As suggested by Arseen.

I use PhotoImpact but I have PhotoShop. You'll have to type some quick instructions as to what how you want me to shadow the text.

I'll add a shadow and reupload for you. no worries.  :)

I've added a shadow around the text with a drop distance of zero using PhotoShop.
I used the Layer Properties context menu to access the drop shadow option.

Sorry I sees no difference (except rearrangement of subtitle which looks now better).

@yukoncornelius Thanks. I want to restore the Pieces cover. I saw a box with a poster on ebay. I will see if my sister can get it for me from the States. Mailing the poster will be cheap. My Fiancee wants a better looking cover for pieces. I already started cleaning the scan that you have shared with us. I didn't forget about you. I'll make a placeholder until i can restore the cover image.

@noemann No worries, man!

;D ja, I noticed that i forgot to center the text, so i made a quick adjustment. LOL.
i didn't see a difference either. I used a shadow in PhotoImpact. The terminology is different but the result should be similar.
I like the object-oriented approach. Text is also an object which can be manipulated. Cartesian coordinates are used to place the shadow according to the z-index. It should be the same effect. I also made it in Photoshop now to see if  there is a difference.

anyway, I'm happy to contribute to TCP cover-making.

hopefully you get done plundering your collection and scan some more boxes soon.
meantime, i've scanned some more manuals and i'll be buying more stuff soon.

no worries  ;D I'm already working on a placeholder for you.
I'll keep you updated on the progress of the restoration process.
Thanks for scanning the box. I truly appreciate you.

Yeah breathing is starting to work again as long as I don't talk too much.

And I have 2 more days off to get better.

Hey man, sometimes I feel like my chest is constricted and it's difficult to take a full breath. After I watched this video I started using an exercise ball to stretch my torso out and it REALLY helped me to feel like I could take deeper breaths.

My situation may not be the same as yours, but it helped my breathing and it's free so maybe it can help once you recover. Looks ridiculous but I don't care, it helps me feel better.

Thank you.

But after the flu is gone I have no breeathing problems ubnless I try to run longer distance.

One really good lung volume increaser excercise is to take 2 liter bottle and fill it half way with water.
Then insert 50-60 CM tube (about 1CM diameter) all the way to the bottom and blow.
Do that 2-3 times per day for 10-20 minnutes.

I haven't had to use this but at work I've seen many astma and COPD patients getting help from this.

Interesting, I will try that. I sometimes get horrible reaction from allergies around springtime so I'm not looking forward to that. Hopefully this year isn't too bad.
