SNES REQUESTS!!!! (Updated feb 23th)

Arseen, I'm working on a Race Drivin' vertical for you. I'd rather you go through those snes boxes and scan some games for us. I really want some scans.  



i am hoping you find that DKC 1-3. I sometimes cannot believe that i have raw scans for games i've never heard of before i started researching snes but i have zero scans of common characters/known ideas. For example, i wonder how i have Captain Novolin and Relief Pitcher scans but no Aladdin, Pink Panther, Animaniacs, Yogi Bear etc. It blows my mind. I have no DKC scans. I saw that the guy at the local store has a DKC in his good condition boxes but i'd rather buy Earthworm Jim from him.

Anyway, I'm working on the cover for you and it should be done tonight. If not tonight, then tomorrow. I'm trying to hurry because i have a Birthday to celebrate tomorrow. busy busy.

I have no idea how the fuck have I managed to misplace the boxes!!!

One possibility is that some of the box boxes have been transfered to my storage place by accident when I send some stuff there...

If I don't locate them here I'll go there to check probably end of this week early next week.

i like what i have so far but it's just a wip now. I'm making some adjustments, then i'll check it for quality.
i'll upload when it's finished. You can inspect it and let me know if it needs any changes or additional work.
I'll keep tweaking it until you're satisfied. I'm happy to help you out. You ALWAYS help me when you can

i let her open her gifts at midnight, so she's resting now while i work on Race Drivin' for you.
I will hurry to try to finish the cover by midnight.

almost done with Race Drivin'. I've decided to restore the cover and I got to the car and underneath the car. I've almost restored the entire cover.

what's left? finish restoring the car (i wanted the flames to look good), touch up the logo and upc.
will upload tomorrow. must sleep a bit.

Before you do though i noticed a few things from your preview image;
1. Back legal text says the game was made by Nintendo, should be THQ
2. I would suggest putting a drop shadow behind the game information text. Generally set the drop distance to "0" so it has an equal darkness around the text.
3. Product Number (SNES P RV), why did you change the font and size of that text? All the other cover have the default size to keep consistency. We need to make sure all the covers follow the same format

1. ja, i forgot about the legal info. Glad you mentioned it.
2. i use a shadow but it may be different effect in PhotoImpact. I have Photoshop Elements which was bundled with my Sketchbook Pro software. I can always try that with your template (Shenske's SNES Template .psd file.)
3.actually, i always have trouble with the template because of so many layers and i have no idea what is the correct vertical layout. I just look at what everyone else is doing. Funny thing about the font, i downloaded the Home Alone 2 cover that Arseen linked to. I thought that he had made it. I tried to match the font and positioning. I used Arial Black.

I can try the template again today and save it as a .psd file.
