The super slim runs completely silent, but you can hear the bd drive when it's searching.reading a disk. Oh and it s plastic and horrible. Lol. I wouldn't trust a second hand phat one.. They get really loud when they get hot, and might have had ylod fixes before being traded in. |

Well, to add to that, I'd also probably end up changing out the housing for a clear case. That's one of the reason's that I want a slim model. I'm not sure how much that will effect the noise too. |
