Hello guys, I am a collector of snes games, cartridges only. My question is, does anyone here know of some sort of cases that fit a snes cartridge, and with that I mean only the cartridge. I'm asking this because I find the universal game case a bit too big and bulky. I would personally prefer nice small cases which fit perfectly around my snes carts. Maybe some camera tape cases or back up tape cases. And if this doesnt exist yet, does anyone know a company that can create these cases if I give them the measurements? I would be very thankfull for some info.

There are no smaller cases made specifically for SNES out there. We are working on some cases, but they would actually be slightly bigger than the UGC, so that doesn't help you.

As for a company that can make the cases, sure, but its not that simple. To make cases like this is quite expensive upfront. Especially injection molded. Yes I company could do them for you, but they will need to be engineered (very expensive), then a die needs to be made (very expensive) and then to make it worth your while you will need to order them in high quantity. You would be better off trying to find a case that's already made for another product that is closer to the SNES size.

The poly cases that she skew as doing covers for are much smaller than UGCs, and should hold snes (and other) cart nicely.

I don't think that you're going to find a better case for SNES carts. UGC's are great.

If you feel like the carts are too loose, try some adhesive felt strips or bumper tape.

Super Famicom games come with a plastic inlay that fits PAL/SFC games perfectly. Don't think there's anything like that for US carts though.

I've seen people make custom SNES Dust Sleeves for cartridges. They seem similar to what you want.

I use these and highly recommend them if space is an issue (like it is with me)

Wow, that's really neat. Protects the cart, but doesn't take up much space. Cool

He's got a lot of great stuff.  I use the SNES, N64, and NES cart protectors for my loose carts. Also use the box protectors for my various CIB cardboard games.
