question just recently bought a bit box for my ever drive N8.. i have an insert i want to use. Just got back from Staples where i printed some inserts from my DS and the bitbox... the the insert for the bitbox is a littttle small. what size paper should i be printing it on? The insert i want to use i have it in two size's .
3366x2100 (300dpi) and 6732x4200 (600dpi)

which of the two should i be using.

New to all this sorry for all the questions.

Both will printout same size, the 600 DPI will just hae 4 more times detail (possibly).

I have uploaded all cover art specifically made for BitBox cases here: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/07vlzgyficoohw0/AACa7UzwyI16MocIjCTDC5sda

Cool! Is this it?

I have ALOT of covers that are not on the site, but were uploaded to the forums if you'd like to covert those as well..

They are ALL hosted here..

I have a thread going about whats still missing and what we have at least something for at this time.  I'm sure there is more that has been uploaded but not approved (possibly) http://www.thecoverproject.net/forums/index.php?topic=16139.0

You may want to create a Microsoft Account and upload all the covers to onedrive.  There is no download limit, it's free, and users can choose what they want to download and get them as zips. :) Check it out!  or I could create one and copy everything over.

I have made 2 so far to create archives for some projects for ease of downloading and working between multiple machines.

Yes it would be great to get some of the non-TCP art converted. Shenske was the one who handled the TCP conversions, maybe he can provide a template or something.

The art I have up on this DropBox is free to distribute. Yes I paid to get it done, but I don't hold the copyright to it and really I want people to have it. This is business DropBox account, so I don't think there are any download limits on it. Granted its still in trial so maybe the trial does. But once the trial ends I can't imagine there would be limits on it.

You can zip up files with DropBox, but I think it may only be directories, no specific files.

So yeah if people want to upload this art to their own file server or sites I have no problem with it.

I actually asked him about that in a PM roughly a week ago, but haven't gotten a response yet. It would be nice though for games that aren't likely to see covers made, like repros.

Hi, I am wondering are we going to develop a case that will fit FAMICOM cartridge perfectly?

They fit in genesis/master system clamshells - not sure this would b e a case Stone Age would try to replace, on the other hand another member shadowfox IS working on some.

There will be a BitBox for everything that has an EverDrive. So yes GG, Famicom, TG-16, Genesis, Master Systems, etc. Of course what we can elegantly consolidate into one case we will.

We will also look beyond those as well. Maybe Atari 2600/7800.

Game cases are not great money makers. Our original motivation for the NES case was for the NES EverDrive. We were hoping others would make a case and no one did. So we took it upon ourselves. After seeing the cost of production we decided to make our own case line and make them available to the public to help with the costs. The cases have sold relatively well, but IMO cases have a huge amount of up front cost and overhead to make them worth it alone. This is probably why we were stuck with the UGC as the only real option for so long.

You could probably fit Master System, Genesis, and Famicom into the same case. EA carts for Genesis complicate things a bit but if you did a kind of a cross design like you did with SNES/SFC it could work.

We have had a few complaints about the print quality we offer, especially lately. As time goes on and we continued to struggle with quality from our printer we decided to purchase a new printer. Below you can see the difference between our old printer and our new printer.

I really wish you will make Neo Geo MVS cases too, as Shock Cases are too expensive. Thanks.

Any idea when these will be back in stock?

I'd like to order a 10 pack to test them out.

If they are a good fit I'll need about 400 of them at some point.

Likely 200 right away.

I'll post this here just so it has a better shot at being seen --

I did some work on a new Little Samson cover (link) and Segamer took on the task of merging mine with the work of tiktektak to create a higher quality cover.

After he was finished, I thought about turning it in to a higher quality BitBox cover, for those that are using them, and came up with this --

Crap preview quality, sorry. Full size looks nothing like this

Does anyone have the BitBox template available to share? I'd like to take a shot and making a few that are missing from their store.
