yikes! i hate root canals. awful experience. I hope that you feel better, Larry.
nice pickups. Banjo is a great series. I miss Rare. DKC, Banjo and Jet Force Gemini are awesome games. I'm a bit jealous of the N64 pickups. I want to finish my snes raw scan collection before i start buying N64 stuff. My Fiancee likes Game Boy - GB Advance so i'll be buying more of those games soon. Anyway, nice lot.

provocaine: lol. me too. plus, i have a high tolerance for analgesics. I always need something potent like percocet, then Doctors act like i'm selling it. lol. I cannot handle the throbbing pain with something weak like codein. I need more power. However, i hate percocet, it makes me so dizzy and weak. yikes!

Yeah I know what you guys mean. Though in my opinion nothing beats morphine when it comes to relieving pain. I remember when I got kidney stones and I was in the hospital nothing took the pain away quite like morphine.

Steelbook is just the kind of case. Instead of a plastic case, the game comes in a metal case. Very common with collector's editions.

I'll scan if I open it.  Still haven't decided.

Any chance a scan will work with the wrap still on?

I've also go the FFX/X2 HD and Drakengard 3 collectors editions as well so those could possibly be scanned too

I hate Novocain with a passion. Afterward I feel like the Elephant man when I try to speak and half my face doesn't move.

My old high school teacher Mr. Dispenza told us about the time he had kidney stones. He said pain was so bad he passed out when the stone passed through him. He encouraged us all to drink plenty of water.

Painkillers just aren't for me but maybe I haven't been hurt badly enough yet. I broke my collarbone and separated my shoulder around thanksgiving. I took some advil the first couple nights but nothing after that. Now I'm finally starting to feel good again; hate being hurt, it sucks

I don't know what anesthetic they use here.

I had to have 2 teeth taken out few years back.
They gave one shot of it and just yanked the teeth out.
I did feel how they rocked the teeth back and forward and side to side (with nice grunching sounds ;D) to loosen them but felt absolutely no pain.
No slurry speech, no light headedness, not any side of after effects.
I just thanked and drove home.

Prolly Novocain. If the oral surgeon knows what he/she is doing, then it should only take ONE go at it. The trick is to hit the nerve itself, and not just the surrounding tissue (will go numb instantly versus slowly over 10-15 minutes).  Poor Larry getting 7 injections for one root canal is sort of insane. That shouldn't happen if it's administered properly :-\

Looking forward to it, I ordered just the standard edition but would love to be able to print out the C.E. cover.

Dude if you got your teeth yanked out and didn't feel any residual pain after the anesthesia wore out then you are a badass  8)
