Went to the local pawn shop and picked up some solid games (ALL FOR $10):

- Tenchu 2 - PS1 complete, black label edition, excellent condition

- Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 - GBC

- Warioland 3 - GBC

- Metroid II - GB

*All GB/GBC games are in excellent shape as well*

I almost feel like I ripped them off, but they sell their games for so cheap I had to take advantage of it

With the new Strider coming out, I'd worried that the price of the PC-Engine version would start escalating. So I order it and it came in today.

smart move. pc engine games and turbografx games have gone up a lot in pricing the last couple of years. I remember when Blazing Lazers was only 15 buck on eBay and now its up to 25. they definitely are trending upwards

I think some of the Sfam versions of expensive SNES games might go up in price

Might?  Many already are. Hagane is a great example. Just a year so you could get the JP version for next to nothing. Not so much anymore :(

Nothing exciting. Just trying to fill out the collection with some titles I've wanted for a while, but didn't want to pay anything close to retail.  This is my favorite time to hunt for games; just as the new consoles launch, rendering the last gen nearly worthless to many folks, but not me ;D

SFam may have gone up but it still doesn't seem as bad in comparison to the insane SNES prices. Hopefully prices are at a peak.

Nice pickups

I agree. Gamestop will start to drop pricing on last gen games real soon and they will start to have the buy 2 get 1 free sales on last gen games as well

a Very Beatles Update

I got a Piitles Calender from Arseen (thanks again!  ;) )
A Rock Band Bass Drum cover, for the clips so I can hold up the Beatles one. - $7
and Rock Band 2 Cymbals - $38
They were supposed to be Rock Band 3 Cymbals, that are better, I stupidly opened them without realizing they were wrong. The set was cobbled together from a Rock Band 2 single and double pack. He switched around the parts to match the RB3 set. At first I thought "As long as it works" then I found out there is a difference between the versions.
I sent a complaint to the seller, best case senerio, a replacement, middle case, a partial/ full refund, Lower case, eBay has to get involved, worst case, I'm stuck with these.
I may have some ground that they were not new, even though each part was in plastic, each part was mixed around, and some duplicate parts were removed. Also the color bolts on top do not screw on correctly.

I also won bidding on these:

Zelda Manual -$5.50

Mario's Time Machine - CIB (Minus Poster) - $15

Yeah I saw that on shop shelf and thought that was so you, I just had to send it.
Read later that the maker of that was the highest payed cartoonist in Finland last year.
I've always loved his history-story books of Finland aimed towards children.

There are some nice illustrations inside the calender, if only I can read the captions.  ;D
Google Translate might be a good help.

i've searched everywhere for M&M 2 scans. The box is damaged but i can clean it.
scans will come if i can find a scanner.
My Fiancee has a printer/scanner combo but it's not so good.
I will see where i can find a scanning service.

I bet you can find a half decent scanner at a local thrift store for real cheap. Got mine for like 20 bucks at a godwill and it does the job for me
