I know of a few people including myself who mod things. Though I'm not from Europe. Talk to Dr. Agon.

Shouldn't have any problems.  No mods required.

You can get power and video cables for US SNES to work in the UK here:

I could fit a 50/60Hz switch and mod the cart flaps for US games...

However, if you wanted switchless, there is a guy here in the UK who does them, can't remember the site, and can't link to it, 'cos I'm on my phone, but he does really good work, I was very pleased when I had mine done a few years ago...

Switchless is fine.

Could you PM me about price and details? As in, can you buy console and ship it to me at a price or do I have to ship you a SNES myself etc

http://www.consolepassion.co.uk/switchless-modification

anyway, PM'ing

And that's gonna be you, doing the modding?

Region free, and NTSC carts will fit as well?

I'm practically always on ebay.co.uk, so I'll keep an eye out for a SNES.

If I understood correctly he can do mod with switch, but if you want switchless mod you should go to that site.

He has nothing to do with the site site if I understand correctly, but I too have heard only good about that site.

My suggestion however would be 2 SNESes: US SNES (can play JAP games as well with super simple mod you can do yourself) and PAL SNES, as no mod guaratees 100% combatibility.
For example Final Fantasy 6, Super Mario RPG and Earthbound can cause problems with modified PAL SNES.

If you want to go with mod way use US SNES as base  = no cutting of the cart slot, and better combativbility with said games.
Older model SNES has RGB output, Mini SNES doesn't BTW, so go with the phat one.

I want a switch on my model so that's not a problem :P

And I dont want to bother with Famicom/US SNES because of the voltage difference. I'm not an electrician, and I dont want to fry the thing. Yes, I know there's voltage converters, but I don't like using them :P
