I've got some pics from an Ebay auction, but even with the front and back they're only about 800 x 800 each.

Assuming that's the best I'm going to get, is there some way I could expand the image in photoshop in such a way as to prevent some of the massive pixelation?

No, not really, the image is too small even if it was 300dpi.  sorry Agnar
