I actually think they look great! I'm not worried about the holes, smell, etc... My only concern would be the structural integrity of the case. Does it feel more like a Nintendo DS case? Or more like the crappy DS cases that gamestop would use a lot of? (I'm not at all saying your cases would happen to be crappy by any means lol)

I would like to obtain a sample myself, because if I liked them, I would be in the market for around 200 cases if the price is right.
What are you looking at? You think baby's don't like video games? THEN YOU DON'T KNOW SHIT ABOUT BABIES!!

Jeez, I can't believe how much groaning there is about the logo cutout :-\ I mean, the clips themselves don't damage manuals and they are forcefully pressing against them, so how on earth would a hole in the plastic that they lay against harm them? ???

I'd love a stack of these, assuming they don't smell like permanent black marker (ie cheap-ass plastic that seems to gas-off forever).  Strong work making these happen!

What i don like are the cuts in the case  :P that's why i told if his logo could be like nintendo's in photo #7 and located in the upper part where the cartridge goes (in Ds case where advance cartridge goes  ;D), but hi is the one making and will sell them, hi's the one making desitions  :P.
if they end up with the logo cut out i'll still will buy them (depending on the price). is better than mod a DS case  ;)

i think the logo looks ugly but, that said, i'd buy a ton of these just for the Game Boy functionality alone.

how would these fare with the clear GBC carts?  is there a way we could get cases for the battery pack games as well? (like Pokemon Pinball, Missile Command, etc)

WOW I woke up this morning and couldn't believe all the comments! :)

Case Durability: The structural integrity is par with the Authentic Nintendo DS cases. (I made sure not to skimp on the material)

Logo Cutout: The logo on the inside of the case actually has a beveled finished edge on it. (Preventing it to imprint on the manuals) The logo is a hard thing for me, I'm pretty proud of these little guys, the first thing I did once they came in was look for scrutiny on them and the first thing my wife and Dad (First 2 people to see them) said was "Why is the logo so big?" LOL I'm not trying to plaster my logo all over the place, I mostly want these to look clean. What do you guys  think about this solution: =139088653&filters[recent]=1&sort=1&o=0]http://s1371.photobucket.com/user/orders7/media/Solution_zpsd27b05e9.jpg.html?filters[user]=139088653&filters[recent]=1&sort=1&o=0 Instead of the cut out I would have the logo be slightly smaller and placed in the top right corner of the left section of the case. The logo would be stamped in and have a gloss finish, contrasting to the sand finish of the case. Thoughts?? If the majority thinks this to be a positive change I'll talk to the mould manufacture and see how much, time/ money it would take to alter this.

Smell/ Off gas: These cases were run 4 days ago and I received them in 2 days of the run, there is a SMALL smell but once you open them the smell is pretty much gone. Right now the only way to smell any smell (Day 4) is to put your nose directly on the case and take a big sniff. :D

Cost/Pricing: I need help with this! What seems reasonable?? I was contemplating some sort of tier pricing. (Like $5.00ea for 1 $4.50 ea for 25 $4.00ea for 50 $3.50ea for 100 $3.00ea for 500+?) I don't know. Again, input is VERY NICE.

:D I'm glad you asked! I already have the layout for the second type of case in the works (For the rumble carts and such) But these moulds are $1000's and how I'm paying for this first mould was the sell of my house. (LOL!) So once I make the money back from this first mould I'm going to turn it over and create the second mould for the rumble carts. (And I have about 4 other moulds in mind after these two)

YES! These cases also hold GBC carts :)

i think is better to have the stamp logo but it can also be on the center on the upper part where the cartridge goes, (in DS cases, where the advance cartridge goes) that's other option

I love the stamped logo idea, I hate the holes.
So if the change isn't hard go for it.

But if it adds to the price don't do it.

Price is too high.

But if you can drop t to around $1 dollar area (and that the quality proves tobe good) order of 1000-1500 would not be out of question.
Then there is the postage price to think.

Judging by the other prices on your website, I'd say if you're selling them individually, with a printed cover, then $4 each.

Individually without a cover, $2.50 each.

But then heavy discounts for bulk purchases, when you consider that many of us on this site would be interested in ordering in the hundreds.

Like Arseen I'd be more comfortable around the $1 mark for the amount I'd be looking at buying.

I realise you've got a lot of overheads to make up for, but keep in mind when you run further batches, you won't need to pay for a new mould, so you can recoup the mould price over time.

Stamped logo much better in my opinion.

I understand you need to make your cash back on these  as soon as possible, but price at those levels is prohibitive.

I can get genuine eu  NDS cases for about 8$ for 10 here
http://www.rivieramultimedia.co.uk/games-cases.html
And they need minimum modification for gb/gba

I prefer the look of your cases by a long shot, and would be prepared to  go above the price of the eu cases, but  not over 5 times the price.  What would it take to drive the costs down?  Perhaps If you got firm  orders in place to pay for the first run meaning no need to warehouse them?  What's the minimum you can go to to cover production costs and initial investment, looking to see a decent clear profit from the second run.

Not trying to teach you how to suck eggs here, you've obviously done your research, and got these off the line super quick.  Just trying to see how they can be viable for me.

Yeah, that is true, and I have to figure out what I want to do with my site and the GB cases/covers. I also agree the pricing I threw out is slightly high. (Me personally, I wouldn't have a problem dropping $300.00 on 100 cases due to the fact I'd only be doing it once. :-) )

I think the market for these cases is massive! And yes, I do need to recoup the mould cost. (So my wife won't kill me... since the original plan was to be a down payment... LOL) and I also agree I can just as easily but DS cases and cut them out if my prices are too high.

I refuse to waterdown the quality... Hmm...

What if the breakdown was something like:
1 Case =$5.00ea (Im thinking Ebay clients)
25 Cases = $3.50ea
50 Cases = $3.00ea
100 Cases = $2.50ea
500 Cases = $2.00ea
1000+ Cases = $1.50ea

What do you think???

These look awesome but I'm not a fan of the logo carved into the front.

I'd imagine this would add to production costs as well?

Also for me, since I'm putting retro games in them the reference to website smacking you in the face every time the case is opened doesn't appeal to me.

I appreciate the need to brand but I think it's a bit much here.

That said I love everything else about them.

Just trying to give some honest feedback.

Hope to see these come to fruition though!

Agreed. I am trying to find a balance. What do you think about this idea? :http://s1371.photobucket.com/user/orders7/media/Solution_zpsd27b05e9.jpg.html?sort=3&o=0 It would not be so loud.
