So! I am super excited to share this with you all. I have been developing a game cases that will fit GameBoy, GameBoy Color, and GameBoy Advance game cartridges for the lasts few months now.

I received my Second batch of "proofs" in today and they are beautiful !!!



Hopefully these babies will be available in the next 15 days. (Fingers Crossed!)

• YES, Finished product will be a DARK GREY color to match the Authentic Nintendo DS cases and NOT the black color of the prototype in the photos.
• On the lefthand side of the case we are going to remove the
  cutout logo and place the logo in the top right-hand corner of the left
  section of the case. The logo will be 25.4MM tall (approx) by 75.43MM long (approx) This
  logo will be a stamp. Case is in Sand finish, LOGO will be glossy finish.
• The clips on the left-hand side of the case need to be moved to the
  left 6.35MM (To allow Pokemon Manuals to fit nicely)
• Cases closing clips need to be a bit tighter
• The clear sleeve seal not to touch the edge of the case
• Cases will be created with higher quality plastic to prevent the smell of off-gassing.

I AM ALSO TAKING A TALLY OF HOW MANY CASES EACH TCP MEMBER WOULD LIKE TO PURCHASE ONCE I GET MY FIRST BATCH. I FEEL LIKE YOU ALL SHOULD GET FIRST DIBS ON THESE CASES BEFORE ANYONE ELSE.

Only I would have preferred without the holes in the front (the text) as I fear they will damage manuals.

My concern too.  That's an awful lot of the front to be cut away.  Rest of the case looks nice though.

As long as they don't smell like recycled plastic and are the same dimensions as DS cases so we can use the existing art, I would buy a ton of these in a heartbeat.

I agree that I don't like that lettering being cut out of the front of the case though. It could scratch manuals, but I'm really more worried about them being less sturdy when you remove that much plastic.

It's less plastic cut away than in the official "eco-friendly" DS cases, so I can't imagine it being an issue.

I'm not so worried about the lessened protection, the carts can handle the lesser protection (for discs it would be issue).
What worries me is the tearing risk of the manuals, or that the holes in time will inprint the image of the holes to the manuals ( as the cases might be under constant pressue on trhe shlves as the space is limited so I might have to cram them a bit).

I would definitely be much more inclined to buy some if they didn't have the eco holes in them. If you have a spare, hit me up on PM and send me a sample.

I diuslike the holes as well....but I imagine if you just take a small piece of card stock as thin as a comic backer board it would eliminate the concern.

 If I were in need of more cases I would be behind this wholeheartedly. I wish you luck with them. They look nice.

as i mention in another thread i will start collectin handheald, so this is an excellent option for game boys as we don't have to mod them, but as the others mention i don't like those holes, why don't you try putting the logo as the nintendo logo in picture #7, but put it in the upper section of where the cartridge goes and live the case without holes

I'd also be interested if the price is right. Not a fan of the cut-out on the front though. Kinda sways me away from it.
