well, i have created the psd in multiple layers, so you can gradient overlay to any colour combination you want. Do you use photoshop or another program? In photoshop its, layer > style > gradient overlay then you can tweak the blend style to however you want, and change the colour mix. You can put as many colours in there as you want too. i have each mord split onto a separate layer (super/metroid/eris) so i just got the gradient to how i thought you wanted it on one word, and copied the layer style to the other words. for the 3d part, i have that on a separate layer, and the colour can be changed with layer > style > color overlay. i've put the psd in my box.net for you to have a play with. |

That looks great, Sheep. I was giving this a go in Illustrator, but as I'm still new to that program, it was taking me a while to get it looking right. I fooled around with your PSD a bit in Photoshop and tried to match the original: PSD here: http://www.mediafire.com/download/b4568w8cdyl5o3j/Super_Metroid_Logo_1.psd You can double-click the gradient overlay items in the layers menu and adjust the colors as you wish for use with other covers. |

Yeah, I wish I could use illustrator too. I have tried, it's just not intuitive for me. I guess given enough playing around I could get results, I just always get lost. Tried following YouTube videos, but just don't get it. Your changes to my psd look great though. |

I've been getting use to Photoshop so I will play around with it. One last quest sheep2001. Where did you get the lettering for Eris? Thanks everyone for all the help! |

I cut them from the metroid logo, resized, and reshaped them. |
